The Village Of The Wolves

In the wilds of the Between, hidden out of sight of the towns and cities, are numerous tribal communities. Some of these tribes are nomadic (like the Wet Roaders), some roam a territory where they sleep rough and some, like the Wolves, have a permanent village base.

The village of the Wolves is fairly civilised with a Chief and his advisors leading a group of organised trappers and hunters. The village is made up of wooden huts and hidden away in a deep forest by a river.

What distinguishes the Wolves from many other tribes is their domestication of the local wolf-dogs. Wolf-dogs are the descendents of stray dogs and wild wolves and roam in packs throughout most of the land. The domesticated versions are still pretty much untamed but are loyal to their new ‘pack’.
